Yosemite

Yosemite National Park is located in California's Sierra Mountains. The park is famous for it's spectacular scenery. Most notable is the magnificent Yosemite Valley, a narrow gorge about 7 miles long. Yosemite Falls consists of Upper Yosemite Fall with a drop of 1430 feet. Spring is the best time to see Yosemite.

Approximately 1300 varieties of flowering plants and 31 species of trees are found in the park.
